"several issues occurred during my stay on 2/18/2026-2/21/2026, which caused significant discomfort and disruption for my family. When we arrived, we were assigned a room on the opposite end from the one I booked and was told that I could request a change the next morning. Unfortunately, the room had a strong, unpleasant odor from the moment we walked in. Because our flight had been delayed and it was very late, we tried to manage for the night even though the smell made us feel nauseous. The next morning, I requested the room change I had been told was possible, but was informed it couldn’t be done. I mentioned the odor and was given an air‑freshener spray, but despite airing out the room and cleaning surfaces, the smell persisted and became worse after using the shower. I also noticed black spots on the bathroom vent, which raised concerns about mold. By around 4:00 a.m., the odor was so overwhelming that my daughters and I felt sick. At that point I went to the front desk and explained that the smell of mold was very strong, and that I think it should be evaluated. Only after that conversation was a room change approved. I then had to gather all of our belongings and carry everything with my two children to the other side of the hotel in the early hours of the morning. While I appreciated finally being moved, no compensation was offered despite the inconvenience, the health concerns, and the disruption to our stay.. "

"Overall we had a great stay! Our first house did not meet our expectations for upkeep (which we found out was due that owner, not housekeeping). However, the staff was incredibly helpful & moved us to a much better house right away & loved it! Here are some pros & cons for consideration: Pros: the waterpark was so much fun, the private pool at the house was a huge bonus, & we loved all the amenities (free breakfast, free theme park shuttles, & staff friendliness). A huge shoutout to Danny who was extra helpful in getting us what we needed, and going above and beyond! Cons: 3 of the main reasons we booked had some set backs. First, you have to PAY EXTRA to heat your pool and hot tub. $60 per day with a 2-day minimum. We were not aware of this. Second is the breakfast. We are happy it’s free, however it is extremely small. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pastries, bread for toast, juice, & coffee. That’s it. Slightly disappointing. Third, is the theme park shuttles. It is through a 3rd party & very limited for times. For example, if you want to rope-drop at Magic Kingdom, you would be very late as the earliest shuttle picks up at 9:20am. We ended up paying for an Uber to get to the park earlier. Then for Universal Studios, the shuttle picks you up at 7:15pm only, so were unable to stay for the parade at 7:00PM because we had to get to the shuttle on time. If the shuttle times were better, the breakfast bigger, & the house pool heat included, it would be 5 stars all day!"
