When we arrived, there were no Executive suites ready and they put us in a Signature suite instead at no extra cost. The staff here are so friendly and go above and beyond and made our stay so enjoyable. Perfect place to celebrate our anniversary."

"This is a lovely little hotel in a perfect spot to visit Newcastle. The staff were all lovely and were keen to make my stay as good as possible. My room was on the 2nd floor and there is no lift (which I knew but still overpacked!) so perhaps don't take one big suitcase like I did! The hotel is well maintained but is not "modern". It has everything you could want except if you stay at the height of a heatwave, there is no AC (i was given a fan which suited me but just a note). The bedroom doors...

"Hotel was modern, clean with excellent facilities. Just a couple of pointers. The two rooms our family occupied had not main lights and one had a lamp and the other didn't. Other internal phone didn't work for room service so used hotel's internal WhatsApp to order. Breakfast was excellent and catered for all diets (including vegan and vegetarian)."

We were slightly concerned that the restaurant was not open on our first night, but we were able to get food from other areas, so not a problem overall."

"The County Hotel is a beautiful old hotel that has been very well maintained. Breakfast is plentiful and the staff were great. Only improvement would be a better selection of toiletry items such as some lotion, shampoo and conditioner etc."

"Very handy for the stadium and student parents staying over. Only stayed one night for a nearby wedding so didn't really use any of the facilities. We moved rooms as club across the road is so noisy, it can be heard in the front rooms. Second room was a big upgrade and very quiet. Staff were very helpful in this respect. Avoided breakfast at £19.00 each and walked to the Greggs instead. Parked at the Temple car park which was very reasonable but not ideal if you are unable to walk too far or...
