The facilities at the hotel matched the description, staff were very helpful , food perfect and plentiful. The location was perfect with a short walk into the town for shopping and evening meals. Would definitely return.

Staff could not have been more helpful; including giving guidance on how to travel by coach/bus to Vilamoura, I was grateful for the attention to detail - even printing off the timetable for me, and discussing the practicalities. Absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff are lovely. The room was right sized and clean. Every part of the common areas was also very clean. The breakfast was also very good with a wide range only options The only bit of a small bother was the location which is a bit away from the main attractions. But the hotel provides a pick up and drop option. Although you are best off if you have your own car

Just returned from another lovely stay at Vila Gale. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were given a river view room with a lovely aspect overlooking the ferry and boats on the river. There was plenty of variety at breakfast and great to sit outside in the sunshine. We made good use of the shuttle bus to take us into town ... unfortunately it still doesn't run on Monday or Tuesday . Ferries to the wonderful Terra Estreita beach were very always on...

Lovely family stay! We had a wonderful stay at Quinta dos Perfumes. The room was spacious and the bed was big enough for the two of us and our 2-year-old. We loved the beautiful swimming pools surrounded by orange trees, and the bikes with a child seat were a great touch — we enjoyed cycling to the nearby town. Wonderful location ,beautiful grounds and excellent food and facilities

This was one of those places that is a pleasant surprise, not because of anything major, but because everything is done well, and without fuss or annoyance. The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive or overbearing, the hotel is clean and well maintained in both private and public areas. The food is good and the location is convenient for both local facilities and travel further afield.

The property was finished to an extremely high standard throughout, with fantastic, cosy, cottage like rooms which made us want to spend more time there in the evenings. The hotel was never busy, it only has 9 rooms I believe, and so we were often all alone by the pool which was lovely.

Out of this world. Aesthetically perfect. A place to really relax and switch off. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful. I would come back here again in a heartbeat. Superb.

The hotel was exactly as it appeared in the advertising and didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and helpful and our room was beautifully appointed and clean. Great local hotel within easy walking distance from the train station in Tavira. Friendly welcoming staff on arrival and throughout our 4 night stay. Comfortable modern room with smart new bathroom and balcony overlooking well kept gardens. Decent sized outdoor swimming pool for a relaxing dip on an afternoon. A fantastic and spotlessly clean hotel. We stayed here for a week at the start of March. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, which meant the rooftop bar and pool area was closed for the first couple of days. Despite the weather, Olhao is a lovely little town with enough bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. We hired a car to explore the area and towards the Spanish border, and we were always able to find a free parking space in the surrounding streets around the...

Lovely stay with all the comforts but there was a mix up as we went to check out, i went to settle a bar bill and was presented with a full bill for the accommodation as well as the bar bill. The accommodation had previously been paid at the time of booking.

Friendly staff. Excellent location. Good views of Tavira. Historical sites within walking distance. The pick up point for the boat trip is within 20 metres of the hotel. Plenty of variety at breakfast including scrambled eggs and bacon. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Verdelago and would happily return. The resort is beautiful, the staff were wonderful throughout, and the restaurant team in particular were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and really made the stay feel special. Honestly, the only things missing for us were a spa and a heated pool. Add those and it would be pretty much perfect! We had such a lovely time and would definitely stay again.
