"We stayed for three days and it was just what we needed. The owner did as much as she could for us and was always . The room was clean and the cooking facilities were adequate."

"It was everything we required for a one night stay , it provided kitchen facilities that enabled a meal to be cooked. It is very well situated and easy to find right next to the main motorway from Auckland however there were no eateries that we found close hence the meal cooking "

"Excellent no fuss, modern, very clean, smart hotel with great value rates. The one big let-down was the breakfast. Don't bother with the buffet breakfast unless it is included in your stay. The selection is rather poor, especially on the cold/continental side. The hot food was not too bad. Bread variety for toast was poor - just cheap supermarket standard white and wheatmeal. "Avoid like the plague. This Hotel should be condemned. It is full of black mould, peeling paint and stinks of mould and moisture from the minute you walk through the front door. It is inhabitable. You have to check in next door at Gateway Hotel, and they give u room key. When went to our room the hallways were lined with dirty sheets piled everywhere and old towels scattered over the floor - everywhere. Not even piled in a heap, much less placed in a laundry bin.
