"We stayed one night. Check in was easy. Parking is very convenient and hotel is about a block from Durham Bulls park with easy walking. Staff is professional and friendly. Breakfast was good. Hotel is clean and seems newer. Sofa in our room may be great for sleeping but uncomfortable for sitting."

"Our room did not receive housekeeping services during our stay. We had to request more linens due to this and they were never brought to us. Luckily, we found a housekeeper in the hallway and got the towels and washcloths that we needed."

"We had booked a handicap accessible room, however our room was not. No bars in the shower or near the toilet and the toilet was not chair height. The third night we were there, there were folks (not sure if they were legitimate guests) in the pool area right outside our room all night, yelling and making loud noises. We would not stay there again."

We got in very late, and the situation was handled satisfactorily by the next morning, but there was no explanation of how our reserved room ended up given to someone else. "Excellent hotel. The ambience and people make this an almost 5 star hotel. Conveniently located on Duke’s campus. Great place to stay when touring colleges, because it is conveniently located on Duke’s campus. The dining menu is limited, but this is okay because Duke’s campus has a smorgasbord board of fantastic restaurants right on campus. The lounge area is extremely pleasant to catch up with friends in the area, and they have resident artist showing off their talents once a week. The hotel...
