"Note that the elevator entrance only goes to the "lower level" but room numbers in the 100's are on the floor below the lower level, accessible by stairs. Wasn't a problem for us but, anyone who has issues with stairs or mobility, you'd want to make sure your room isn't on that level. The perk for being in the 100's is you can walk out your patio door and the outdoor pool is right there. We did enjoy three nights there. 😊"

"Beautiful place"

"This was a beautiful place, located in a perfect spot. Cute little town you could walk to. Boat harbor was also within walking distance. As well as beach area for swimming. The place is very spacious for a family of six. Downside…there was no microwave to reheat food. There was a wine cooler, but no fridge. We had dirty sheets on top be bed and a dirty comforter on the other bed. By dirty, I mean brown smears. The cafe and bar were not open while we were there at beginning of the week."

"This unique property offered easy access to this wonderful corner of the state with a well maintained estate, a clean and cozy room, and a wonderfully friendly cat mascot. We will be back!"

"There is no hot water when we arrived. Waited for the whole day, still no progress. The staff is polite but not very helpful in providing alternative solutions. So we checked out early. Expedia contacted the hotel for refund and no one is answering the email or the phone call. So yeah, I got ghosted."

"Great location if you are wanting to travel around Northern Michigan. Cute town with a convenient grocery store, Mammoth Distillery Lounge and great little pizza place. Check in was easy, but no personal communication from owners. Only automated messages. Unit could have been cleaner. There was sand on the floor and some laundry in the dryer which was strange. Unit did not have as many beds as advertised so I’m glad we didn’t need more. AC unit was incredibly loud and not very efficient. Had to...

"We loved staying in the Charlie Room. It was quiet and comfortable. We could walk right into Central Lake and eat or we could drive a little and walk neighboring towns. It was a wonderful stay!"

"Unfortunately, we ran into a situation with a sick child and had to make a last-minute change of plans. We were well aware that this was inside of the typical timeframe where adjustments to our stay could be made, but the experience we had made us feel undervalued and ignored. There was a complete failure by the host to respond to any form of communication, including multiple phone calls/messages, texts and emails.
