"What a weird a** place this is. This hotel does a great job straddling the line of being friendly and unhelpful. They act like they are nice but really they just want to be mean. The hotel itself is well appointed but the presentation is a bit pretentious. It's trying to be fancy but really it's just weird. It is not family friendly. We tried to have a coffee one day in the cafe but there was no server. Then we ran into some trouble with kids pool time as the TV stated the window was 9-noon...

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Very quirky hotel-loved all the decor. Rooms up to high standard with air conditioning on during a heatwave. 10-15 minute walk from nearest tube station. Will be back :)"

"The size of the hotel and cleanliness was amazing! However we had issues throughout our stay with the washing machine breaking while our clothes were inside, the AC shutting off every hour and our key cards kept no longer working. The hotel staff was really helpful in giving other options to help everything not working."

"The hotel and the staff were great. The only advise I would give staff is that when people check in to just inform them of how the lifts work (as you need to use your room card key to work them) and how to switch the air con on in the room (took us an hour to suss out we had to press a button on the top of the panel to turn it on). Other than this it was a lovely stay over and it was very comfortable! Thank you "

"The bed was huge and very comfortable, the shower was hot and facilities were good. It was very good value for the rate. The location was great. I can't say it was spotlessly clean, just normal levels of clean. A few bits need some refreshing, and there was some noise transfer from other rooms but overall would stay here again. A good, affordable base in great location. "

"I flew from the Caribbean, so the electrical outlets were different. Had to purchase an adapter to be able to charge my phone. the only issue was the room was not cooling enough, but i guess the heat wave caused this as well. Other than that everything was perfect!! Very clean room and helpful staff. The restaurant food was also really delicious. I would definitely stay here again."

"Very comfy beds & pillows , nice bar & reception staff , Nice pool sauna steam good, not luxurious enough to be called a spa. Our room had a power failure when we awoke 2nd morning, no air con & v warm day, we had to use the bathroom in the dark & couldn’t shower , when we rang reception there was no answer ,we reported as we checked out but only received an apology & still charged the full rate?"
