"A good business/tourist hotel near Russell Square. Property is vast, well maintained and very clean. Rooms are fairly Spartan, though beds are exceptionally comfortable. Lack of air conditioning is a problem in warmer months. Recommended."

"Great location and view of Tower Bridge amazing during the day and at night. Hotel currently undergoing a massive refurbishment and though with many apologies the building work began very early. The areas that have been completed are really lovely and I’m sure eventually the rest of the hotel will look the same. The rooms however, though a little ‘tired looking’ are very clean and breakfast was excellent! The completed bar areas were amazing!"

"Only a single night stay but very happy with my stay. Unfortunately besides sleeping and breakfast I only spent about 20 minutes here as I was attending a function. Intriguing decorations and some might find some of the 'nick nacks' spread around the hotel a bit OTT especially if you don't like things like clowns and dolls. The bedroom theme in the room I stayed was interesting and towards the subtle end. When you turn the TV on in your room it plays information about what/who the room is based on. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and warm, there is a/c in the room the bathroom was a little small but perfectly functional. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice. Some Mediterranean food made a nice addition to breakfast, plus the traditional Full English. I'd stay again."

"The Yotel London was in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the Farringdon tube station. There were several nice restaurants nearby. My room was clean and quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. However, there was absolutely no counter space in the bathroom, which had a sink the size of a placemat. I did have a refrigerator in my room but no coffee or tea pot and they charge 2.50 pounds for coffee in the lobby. We didn't eat breakfast there because it was so expensive at 18 pounds per day. Also, there were no drawers to put clothes in and only 4 hangers in what I would call a stall rather than a closet. There was no desk but a small stand that housed the safe. I was staying for 11 nights so it was a challenge to figure out where to put everything. The other thing I found difficult is that the only place to plug in a hair dryer or curling iron had no mirror near it. So I couldn't see what I was doing. It was really inconvenient. For $300 per night I expect more."
