Great and cute space perfect for a one night stay. I loved the vibe of the place. Check-in was super easy. We had no issues.

A great place, close to Leiden station, which is also a super lovely place to visit, or even stay when hoping to also see Amsterdam. A modern hotel close to many great restaurants - some with worthy specials (try Parkhuis!) and interesting sights to see. Would totally recommend!

Nice clean room and very convenient for the station. ideal for a few nights stay and near to bars restaurants etc. linked to a bigger Tulip hotel next door for an excellent breakfast. Generally an Unmanned reception but communication was ok when needed.

The location right in front of the station and the comfort of the hotel room were excellent. One disappointing aspect, however, was that I was unable to use the self-check-in process because the necessary code—which was supposed to be sent via email—never arrived.

We had a good time at Hotel VIC! It was clean and the staff was very nice. Our only complaints are that checking in and out was difficult after booking through Expedia (we weren’t given the reservation numbers which were needed to check in / out on their automated system, and there wasn’t anyone staffing it when we needed to check out), and that the mirror / low lighting situation in the rooms make it difficult to apply makeup. Overall a good experience though!

My absolute favorite hotel in Leiden. I am always so impressed with it that I have returned time and again. Right near the train, so close and walkable to all of the things that Leiden offers. Perfect location and place to stay when in the Netherlands.

It's worth noting that the shower and washbasin are in the bedroom, not in a separate room. Also, be sure to set the Do Not Disturb button by the door to avoid being rudely awoken by the cleaner ringing the bell repeatedly. Otherwise it's a good spot, well situated for the station.

The room was clean and well stocked. However, be aware that there is nobody at the front desk until after check-in time, so it may be difficult to check in if you have an Expedia confirmation number, as that isn't the one you will need to use for check-in at this hotel. The location is VERY convenient to the train station and a short walk into town, which is gorgeous. We had a good stay overall.

Took me over 40 mins to check in. No staff available on reception to help out. Just a self service check in screen which didn’t recognise my booking so had to phone a number that was unrecognised. Was extremely stressful and I was late to my dinner reservation. I asked for a double room on my booking but when I got to the room it was a twin room- but of course no staff in reception to rectify this. Beds were not comfortable and the room was dimly lit. Not enough lighting in the room at all. Very moody lighting but not practical. Albeit very clean room and nice shower area. Very good location too being next to the main station Wouldn’t stay here again!

Hotel is lovely. Rooms spacious, quiet with safe and fridge. Staff incredibly helpful especially with checkin (terminal in reception which we had to use didn’t accept any booking references we held and others struggled to check in electronically as well)
