"Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out and made us feel completely looked after. The room was beautifully appointed, with everything we could need, and the bed was especially comfortable. "Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. "

"Saban and Belinda were great hosts. They were very accommodating and paused their laundry so i could do mine between the two different legs of my trip. I neeed to make sure i had enough clean laundry as i would not have access ta any laundry facilities for the next 12 days. The room was nice, and perfect for a solo traveller."

"Very spacious room with all that was required to have a relaxing break. Extremely comfortable bed, gorgeous bath and refreshing shower. Plenty of tea and coffee. There was some outside noise, but we fully expected that when booking a high street hotel on a main road, and it certainly didn’t detract from our stay. Definitely stay again and would spend more time in the hotel, where this time we went to explore the town"
