"The room was spotless. Reception was good, and had no issues at all. Had a meal in restaurant. Meal was superb and the young young staff member that served us was efficient and curtious. "This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. "A lovely property. Everything fresh and clean from the bedding to the bathroom and towels. Delicious breakfast. Una and Morton were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble from serving tea and cake when we arrived to supplying me with toothpaste when I found i hadn't packed mine! Would highly recommend."
