"We had a lovely short stay in this attractive stone pub with lots of character.. The location is perfect for Lancaster and the University nearby. The rooms are of a high standard and very clean. Food was good and staff pleasant and helpful. The lovely garden at the back was ideal for a relaxing pre dinner drink. Thank you, we will definitely recommend to our friends!"

"This property was a real treat! It felt very well catered, toiletries in the bathroom, water and milk in the fridge, and some sweeties on the table! Our visit fell during the heatwave so the property was really hot, but there were fans available for each bedroom which did help. Great value for money!"

"Really good location, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Although we had some issues with our key card deactivating they were really helpful and not a complaint. was the perfect location right in the city centre, with lots of shops and restaurants all within walking distance! The traffic could sometimes be loud but easily fixed by closing the window. As well as the lack of iron and hairdryer in the room, however there was a communal iron in the reception. Was a really nice stay overall."
