"A lot of noise from people walking in and out, and kids screaming early in the morning. That’s not the hotel’s fault. But some sound isolation would be nice. The room was nice enough, nothing extra there. Bathroom door didn’t close properly. Bed was okay, but not the best. "

Would have liked some bedside lights, ended up using the TV on a scrambled signal to give a little light. Staff were friendly and really helpful. To the point of intervening with parking because it’s free at the weekend. Top tip - if you’re heading to Winchester, get the bus. Bus stop a short walk away, the route I direct, every 10mins....

"We visited the Chilworth Manor Hotel for our mini moon after we got married. The receptionist was very rude and abrupt when we arrived to pay before our wedding (before we got married) and made us feel unwelcome from the get go. "Had arranged for the hotel to have a taxi for us in the morning. Was waiting for taxi 1/2 hour past the time pickup was arranged. Spoke to taxi service and found out no reservation was made for us. Hotel dropped the ball big time. Not happy at all."

"Great location. We walked from the cruise port in 20 minutes. Walked to the train station in under 15 minutes. Breakfast was great. They have gluten free options too. Rooms are a good size. You have shopping, restaurants and everything around including the waterfront and old town."
