This should not put guests off as there is a lot of light and space in the building. We opted out of breakfast as we like to explore the local area first thing. "Room I was given was visible tired but when looking closer it was clear that the cleaning was not completed to a standard I would expect. Walls were full of holes and wall plugs, bathroom accessories were broken and to top it off no hot water in the morning. Personally I will not be staying here again."

"What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area"

"We only had 1 night but we left wishing we could stay. The flat was lovely and clean and had everything we could want. The bed is super comfy. Bathroom was a good size shower was excellent. Check in was so easy. I met the gentleman and his 2 lovely boys and was sorry we didn’t see them when we left. Highly recommend."

"Rooms were spacious although they were quite warm. No opening windows. The restaurant is extremely expensive. The bar chairs are very uncomfy - just sink into them and definitely need replacing. Aside from that it is a nice hotel and friendly staff."

"My only problem is the check in process, staff wasn’t professional, wasn’t friendly at the beginning but force a smile later on, not looking at guest when speaking to them , no greeting from staff to guests, no explaining the arrangements for breakfast. Been to many different hotel around the world, this is the worse."

"The majority of golfers arrive for the day and do not stay overnight. The result being after 9pm, the lodge is very quiet. For some that will be a like or dislike. I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay with no complaints. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly."
