"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bathroom is really small and no electrical outlet or exhaust fan that I could find. This was to be expected as this is an older hotel. Location was great though and had sitting area in front of hotel outside. Overall very good experience"

"This was one of my most memorable stays ever! This was a girls trip and all of us loved it, even those that arent "outdoorsy"! The staff was more than accommodating even to the point of starting a fire for us ahead of time so our tent would be warm when we came back from an excursion. The staff are available in the lobby for 24 hours. The tents do not have outlets but there are usb ports to charge your phones. There was no service in our tent but i did receive some service in the "lobby" tent....

"The main guy in the office was great but the was Microtel was VERY outdated ! The breakfast was outdated also , not worth going for ! The whole place really needs ALOT of updating !"

"Our room was clean except the floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped before our stay. We said something to the front desk about it and housekeeping came by and gave us fresh towels-not what we asked for. Other than the floor, it wasn’t a bad stay."

"I really liked this hotel. We were right in downtown Gatlinburg and could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The staff is very nice and helpful. Check in and check out was so easy and efficient. Will stay here again. We don’t have animals but it is very pet friendly."

"The breakfast looked very good. You can make your own pancakes! We did not stay for breakfast. Our room was very clean and the mountain stream out of the balcony is so peaceful! We had a wonderful bears show! Two big bears entertained us for about 10 minutes! A bear tried to get in the back of our truck, but one of the employees scared him away (4:00am)."

"Loved having a balcony room with the creek down below. It was right off the main strip but in walking distance to all the entertainment yet felt quiet and secluded. Would definitely stay again."
