"Overall a great place to stay."

"Beautiful room & beautiful view from the room. The room was very clean, has a nice kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and cooking items. The restaurant food was also very good. The restaurant is at the Lodge. There’s a nice walking trail along the water from the lodge & a marina within a short walk. We took a boat tour, from the marina, that was wonderful & saw many manatees at the marina."

"We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough "

"The Brook Trout Inn is a real gem. It has been locally owned for the last ten years. The owner and staff are wonderful people. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location makes local towns like Highlands, Cashiers, and Brevard accessible with relatively short drives. There is lots of hiking and waterfalls in the local area. A great place to stay."
