"The property is basically set up for weddings and large events and they don't have any considerations for hotels guests. The 2 nights that we stayed the restaurant and bar were closed due to a wedding and another event and no other place to eat or drink in the hotel not to mention the parties and music were loud and we couldn't sleep. "This is a gem of a motel in a perfect location for beach access (or to nearby Kingston, Wakefield etc.). It was immaculate and so well maintained with a friendly staff. The room was lovely, there was plenty of hot water, I was so grateful for in room coffee and mini fridge and the 6:30 AM coffee in the office! My only minor piece of feedback is that there are only bagels for breakfast so maybe a few yogurts or other options would be amazing but this was a wonderful place to stay while I was...

"The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. "

"Good location and not far from downtown Newport. We appreciated the free shuttle that went between the hotel and downtown. "This is a three star hotel that should be a best, a two star. On the surface it seems to have all the bells and whistles, however the general feel is that is is old and tired, and needs a really good scrub. Carpets that have seen better days, dust on air vents. The breakfast amenity is overpriced (pay per item( pre packaged gas station type food like breakfast sandwiches, juices and yogurt, seems not very popular with guests. Pros, the area we had our room was very quiet."
