"This hotel was in the most lovely neighbourhood, surrounded by cute shops and cafes, and right near the most scenic bridges and canal views. The restaurant underneath the hotel was amazing, I had such a wonderful meal there! All of the staff at Hotel Callisto were so kind, friendly and lovely. I loved my stay so much!"

Location was excellent - reasonable walk to the city centre but far enough away to be quiet. For those looking for cooking facilities, the kitchen was well equipped. Loved this hotel!"

"The room was a loft and it was clean and quiet. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Ivan was extra helpful and getting everything arranged. Simple and efficient hotel. A couple of things to be aware of: there are steps up into the main area of the room, along with stairs up to the loft. Loved the bikes!!! They really make it easy to get around and enjoy the city. Easy! A few things that could have been better : The air conditioner struggled to cool the room down. It felt as...

"Nice layout with good kitchen. Need more supplies such as coffee and toilet paper. There was no balcony with our unit and the door opened directly into the open air which was terribly unsafe; a crack in the door patched with duct tape. Could have used more blankets as well. Overall, okay for the value. Easy access to train and bus and cute shopping area for coffee and food just one block away."

"location is good near to central station about 10 minutes walk. shopping and restaurants along the way. unfortunately the room that i get heater is not working...it was cold and pillow is quite hard"

"The room was extremely tiny and clean enough, from the review i thought it would have been a little better. The room was at the top of the main entry, so it was very noisy if you’re not there for the late nights. When traveling, I did not expect a Hilton. So, it was in a good location and the staff was very helpful."

"Very nice location. Much larger hotel than I had expected, had multiple people for reception and even had concierge. Note that it does have various little stairs up and down to get to some of the rooms but it is the nature of having joined up so many houses to make the hotel. Has two restaurants, a full-service restaurant and then a smaller one which we ate at a few times. Definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Amsterdam."
