"Beautiful property with a lot of activities to enjoy and magical sites to explore. This includes a pool, hiking trails, several waterfalls and natural pools in the river, and the hot springs and mineral mud. Nice variety of tours too- the horseback riding/ tubing combo trip was fantastic! We loved the convenience of everything on the property! The breakfast buffet was very good, beds were comfortable, and service was helpful. We liked it so much, we extended our stay."

"Boyeros has a beautiful courtyard full of mature trees with a lovely pool. The staff works hard to keep the pool skimmed and the grounds maintained. The free breakfast was tipico- Gallo pinto, eggs, plantains, and sweet corn pancakes, with fresh fruit and various baked goods. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The air conditioning works well, the room was clean, and the beds comfy (sidenote: I like a firm bed). It was really nice to be able to book a room with three beds."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The garden was incredible and the lovely family did a little night tour to show us frogs, sleeping birds and other small creatures and plants. In the day we saw many birds. The little side kitchen was nice, and the hostess cooked very good breakfasts of local food, much of which they grew. This was one of our favourite places we stayed in CR. "

"Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. The private trail was a moderate hike to a gorgeous waterfall and was a great taste of the beauty of the area without the crowds of Tenorio. Our 6 year-old loved seeing the red-eyed tree...

"We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. The dinner and breakfast was prepared for us by wonderful staff, and they catered for vegan, vegetarian and carnivores in our family group, including our 2-yr old grandson. We enjoyed the pool and waterslide during our brief stop, and enjoyed walking around the property with company from the very friendly (but not in your face!) dogs. "The location and property are absolutely beautiful! Incredible views! The grounds are kept meticulously! The rooms are clean and neat. The rooms are simple and yet elegant at the same time. The staff were very forgiving of my limited Spanish. A little harder to get to but worth the drive. The restaurant on property was excellent. Just a small sidenote… There was no air conditioner in my smaller room. I knew this going into it and the nice breeze that was almost constant."
