This is a great location. You’re close to the subway and get anywhere you need to easily. The staff was great. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the WiFi (plan to bring your own hotspot) but aside from that we had a great stay.

It’s an old mansion. Clean but dated. Veery cool place. Huge room with fire place. Enjoyed my stay. Been there before. In summer the pub next door can be a bit noisy.

nice, clean rooms. great location, easy parking behind the building. only thing is you are right by the frat houses which get super loud over the weekends, their favorite bar is the pub that's connected to this hotel. but whatever, we're not super fancy and dealt with it. just something to note if you have young kids or really need your sleep lol

Excellent location. Beautiful old house. I felt very safe even though we were in central Toronto. Lots of good restaurants and other amenities around. I ended up in a room in the basement and I could feel/hear the subway going underneath or very nearby on a regular basis. Streetcars after subway hours. It didn't bother me too much, but I did have to wear ear plugs. I think that is the only negative in this great budget friendly hotel.
