"Not amazing but okay. You pay for a room and that’s what we got. Chose not to eat breakfast so pretty much no contact with anyone. Very scenic but air smelled at time like manure. Maybe fertilizing? Overall it was fine and there for location that fit our plans and the free parking. Our room was not at the chateau but old animal stall building turned into rooms. Toilet extremely loud. "

"Hôtel Le Louvre is just perfect ! I felt instantly welcome when I arrived thanks to a most friendly and professional receptionist. The hotel itself , is ideally located in the heart of city centre , in a quiet and easily acccessible street, with a private garage . The whole property is immaculate, my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with great bedding and bathroom. A welcome pack of biscuits , a bottle of water and some nice soap and shampoo were a rather nice touch. The breakfast...

"The room had been renovated beautifully. Fully rewired with usb charging points and a plethora of lighting options. The bed was very comfortable with a bolster, two pillows and a decorative cushion per person, the most pillows we've ever encountered in France! Despite Cherbourg undergoing significant utility and road revamping, it made little impact in the hotel. Free parking was easily available within a few minutes walk 😀"
