Hotel Motel 6 di Treasure Island

"It is an old motel. Smells musty, stairs not clean. Shower head needs to be changed, not very effective. Fridge was leaking water. Bed skirt was a tripping hazard. Not good if traveling with elderly. I did like the many exits"

"This place is in a bad neighborhood -- I stayed two nights and I heard gunshots the second evening, in bed falling asleep, followed by a police siren. Homeless / junkies are everywhere. No one bothered me and I felt safe, but it's not pleasant. Check-in is not until 4 -- endless when your flight lands at 6:30 am. They stored my luggage in the building next door, under construction. Despite having all day to get the room ready, the toilet was unflushed and a bit dirty, there was hair on a towel...

"This location is excellent — walkable to Fisherman’s Wharf. The room had heavy cigarette smell which caused us allergic reactions. Was it worth the low price for one night? Not sure."
