"A really tranquil and well thought out hotel. Great little touches like including an anniversary card in the room for us, and extra amenities in the spa. The staff were friendly and polite, the food was good quality. "The hotel was very dirty corridors to the rooms were smelly and lifts were dirty. If your wanting air conditioning this hotel dosn't have it so if it's hot then your stay will not be comfortable"

"It is a new property attached to the Bodmin Jail, which makes for a convenient visit to that site (the museum and 4D experience as good). The breakfast is very good and the breakfast / bar staff were very nice. The checkin was mixed. I could definitely tell they treat folks booking directly much nicer (the person standing next to me had booked direct) than booking via Expedia. "The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space.
