"Very bad hotel, most of the things in the reception and lobby are broken. Carpets are really dirty, I mean this hotel and its room and carpets will redefine the meaning of unhygienic and filthy. The rooms are so smelly. We had to request for change of room and second room was equally smelly and dirty."

"Despite the 1960s look from the front and the scaffolding this hotel is built into the side of the hill is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent and the views of Mawgan Porth were stunning even in the unpleasant weather that we had. Really enjoyed the spa too. Even the Yogi tea that was on offer. "Fantastic hotel in a lovely spot and not far from Padstow or Port Isaac etc.. The rooms were clean and well equipped with comfy (if slightly soft) beds, a Dyson fan if required and even Sky TV! "Got told when checking in one of the blinds was broken and asked not to use it we ended up going home that evening,we had food it was not great tried small starters the coleslaw was just terrible the chips under cooked and had olives and bread well over priced as the bread was quarter of a baguette and warmed up in a microwave.
