"The property was under construction. The elevator was not working and the spa was not working. I could not find the gym. The breakfast was a grab and go and was fair but I would have loved to be able to sit down somewhere. The positives are the rooms are very nicely renovated. The staff is great. Location is great. A wonderful breakfast basket was waiting for me when I returned with fresh fruit, a chia seed parfait and green juice. I stayed in Sweet Bay, which had nice high ceilings, a comfortable bed, a mini kitchen and a large soaking tub. All of the touches were so well thought out. "Great place to stay in the San Diego area, located in a high-end neighborhood inside a golf club. The rooms, which appear to have been recently and tastefully renovated, are spacious, clean, and quiet. The welcome amenities (gummy bears and nuts) are a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area. The only minor downside for us was the lack of a full sit-down breakfast service, although there are plenty of places for breakfast just a short drive away."

"They were renovating, but there was a horrible sewer smell from the bathroom sink drain. Everything was clean though, and staff was super nice and helpful/accomodating! Small parking lot, and the breakfast offered is all small, prepackaged things like donuts or toast and jam. Online I read about a pancake machine and there was none lol it was overall okay!"

"You're only paying for the location. Dont expect anything else. I would not stay there again unless I had too. I would bring my own cups because their cups are super cheap. If something hot is in it, the cup will dissolve and you will have that in your hot drink. Access to the beach from the "short cut" is definitely a liability because its a steep dirt path and you can easily slip and fall. Forget about maintenance, the place is not considered presentable. "We stayed for a night; we got a good deal with Expedia that included parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast. We will definitely go back and stay again. clean and the location was very convenient. Very nice, welcoming staff."

"I hadn't been here since they were in the middle of the remodel. The remodel overall looks good but what you miss out on with that change means paying even more than you would expect to pay. Not only is parking $28 a day now, but now their breakfast is not complementary and you have to pay $25 per person for their breakfast and the options are not worth the cost.
