Believe all the pro and con reviews

All of the pro and con reviews are true. Yes, it is not spotless, and there is mildew, the fridge is tiny and the roads are horrible. But the price is right, it is decorated tastefully, you have a kitchenette, a pool on your balcony and a lovely rooftop pool area. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler, and while I would not recommend it for older travelers (dealing with the roads especially), this is a great place for younger folks.

Séjour de 2 semaines au calme dans une résidence bien entretenue Apparemment très fonctionnel et suffisant pour se préparer des petits repas Piscine agréable Literie très confortable Toutefois l’accès est un peu, voire très compliqué sur des routes très défoncées😅 Qq travaux ont été entrepris durant le séjour sur une portion de la route👍

The hotel was a little hard to find. Due to my poor internet service. I recommend you download google maps so this will not be an issue for other people. Once I found the hotel the receptionist was very professional and helpful. The room was very clean and beautiful. Hotel internet service worked very well. The pool was very nice. The area is well lit and safe. There is a security guard overnight. It was very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful B&B away from city center and the major drawbacks are the massive potholes in the streets and the limited walkable eating places. The furnishings and kitchenette were excellent and if you want a quiet place away from the touristy areas, this is the place. The staff was very friendly and were able to call for taxis as needed

An HONEST REVIEW.

After reading what this property had to offer, the price seemed great. Upon our arrival we found it a lot different. - Ants in the kitchen area -Hair in the shower -No coffee machine or electric kettle -Inadequate kitchen utencils, rusty or broken.Deplorable pots, pans and pots etc. - king bed, but hard as a rock -Bar stool ready to fall apart . Dangerous -no elevator, we had 60 steps up and another 60 steps down 1-2 times a day - No tour dedk,spa services or shuttle bus -Floor boards on patio will need replacing soon, dangerous -Kithen and bathroom fixtures need replacing due to hard water and lack of maintenance. -No coffee shop or grocery store within -a mile of property. Cost of taxi service was $28-$30 Cdn EACH WAY!!! - Pool and area not cleaned or serviced in , at least, 3 weeks.Garbage containers still full of garbage, dead leaves etc in pool. Probably no chlorine used in pool in weeks. We didn't want to use it for fear of skin irritations. Location was so rural, La Valeta, that we felt like prisoners within the unit. Too far to walk anywhere. too dangerous due to poor infastucture. Pothloes everywhere, water st least 6-7 inches deep. - Taxis even hesitant in coming into the area due to conditions in La Valeta - Too many gross photos to show you.

Great and comfortable stay

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was very spacious and lots of room to spread out. Had a private entry with a private pool. Gerardo was very helpful with showing off the property, recommending where to eat and even offering to door dash and scheduling a taxi cab back to the airport. The area looks a little sketch but not intimidating once you get out and explore.

El lugar está hermoso, la habitación está en excelente condiciones e impecable el lugar. El único detalle que tiene es que difícil de ubicar pero ahí en fuera recomiendo el lugar un 100%.

Charmoso e confortavel.

A estadia no geral foi muito boa. Há estacionamento na frente do prédio. A recepção foi muito boa, com Fernando, mas de uma maneira bem local e informal. O prédio e as acomodações são bem rústicas e charmosas. Adorei. Tivemos um problema com o aquecimento so chuveiro que foi prontamente resolvido. A cama é confortável. TV funciona bem e a cozinha foi de grande valia, já que o lugar é um pouco isolado. O único problema foi a estrada que é muito, mas muito ruim. Evitamos sair pra não ficarmos empenhados com o carro em um buraco. É a pior infraestrutura de estrada que ja vi em lugar turístico. Eu adicionaria o serviço de café da manhã pra melhorar a experiência, já que o local é longe do centro.

If you ever been to Tulum then you already know it is developing, however, the property was amazing!! Liked space, decor. Did not like location. Road to Unho, rocky, muddy, rough terrain some roads to get there (rent a jeep or 4x4 if you can. Property for most part maintained. Only issues were. Pool was dirty upon arrival. Asked attendant if pool was cleaned he said “yes”, but when we asked a different attendants after he left, he said “no” and immediately started cleaning the pool (we appreciated that). Fixtures in the house were rusty (especially the sink in the kitchen). It looked very dirty with the rust (I was creeped out to wash dishes in it). At first I thought that the rust stains could not come out but then I asked one of the female attendants to clean it. She got a sponge n some soap and to my surprise “most” of the rust came out. I also had an issue with the upstair shower. I noticed a “black” unknown substance around the bottom of the shower. I looked at it for a couple of days then finally asked the male attendant if he knew what the substance was? He said he did not know but he would try to get it out with bleach. He put the bleach on it and most of the black substance disappeared. He had to do this 2 days in a row (it appeared to be mold to me. Around the faucet also had little black specs. So long story shirt, the property in general diid not appear to be inspected or deep cleaned before I arrived. Property smelled like it was just sitting there, like it was not freshly cleaned. Expected more when cleanliness was concerned. I would not stay here again.
