"Cabin was nicely arranged and had most amenities needed. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom which was unfortunate. We enjoyed the gas log fireplace. A repairs are needed: microwave door is significantly cracked, the back left stove burner does not work and the ceiling needs some places repaired in a couple areas. There were plenty of clean linens and blankets. We would certainly book with them again."

"The staff was very helpful. We received a text hours before check in time that the room was ready which was great since parking in Blowing Rock is tough. Parking at the Inn is reserved by room number, which was also nice."

"We are world travelers. Everything about this hotel was done right!! No gross carpet, no drapes that don’t close out sunlight, a balcony with rocking chairs & table, flashlight, large walk in shower, rain head, no fog mirror, nightlight, excellent lighting, nice linens, free bottles of water, refrig & coffee maker. "Young guy who checked us in was great- very welcoming and attentive. Room was spacious and comfortable and the deep bathtub was fantastic. Unfortunately we could hear the traffic pretty well from outside, but overall we are happy with our stay!"

    #appalachianechoes This picture is of the Mystery Hill sign in Boone. I took this picture because it reminds me of the time my parents brought me to Boone for a short vacation. We visited Mystery Hill and it is something I think about when describing this region. It is a picture that I feel many people from the region have in their minds from a previous visit or an outsider may feel for a similar place from their hometown. I chose to only take a picture of the sign because it is more direct than a picture of the Mystery Hill building.
