"It was a really cute stay for my birthday weekend The little touches from the pantry to the check in wine offered and the Madeline cakes hanging on the doors- and the room was so cute too. "This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. "From making our room booking, adding food bookings and treatments was hassle. Getting through on the phone was just ringing out, so I tried messaging which took a week to get an unsatisfactory answer. We booked rooms and spa package but still had to pay extra to go for a swim on our arrival and then they wanted extra for slippers. "Absolutely love this place. Second stay here and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Emily at front desk goes over and beyond to help with anything we ask. Rooms are clean, bed sleeps great, AC works great, rare find worth staying. Close to the bus stop for travel into the city. Spacious parking. Only regret is we didn’t stay longer. "
