"Room was clean and property was well taken care of. All the staff was professional and had no problem answering our questions. The hotel has a gate to walk through, not just anybody can come inside and the parking lot is also gated so they have staff that manage these services. Casa serena is located in a quiet, prosperous area that is walkable with at least 3-5 bars/restaurants nearby. We literally have zero complaints!"

"Lovely boutique hotel in one of the safests parts of town and minutes away from the airport. The room was impeccable and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and clean with a rain shower. I was really impressed by the customer service, everyone at the front desk was so attentive, welcoming, professional and polite. I enjoyed the traditional Guatemalan breakfast. This place is worthwhile. "

"The staff, particularly our amazing doorman (my sincere apologies, but my middle-aged mind has forgotten his name,) were above and beyond! The room was spacious and the a/c and heater were both efficient. The bathroom was meticulously clean. The lack of a mini fridge in the room stocked with agua pura seems an oversight at this price point, but the delicious breakfasts, warm welcomes, and generous nature of everyone helped us forget this shortcoming. Will absolutely stay here again!"

"I love this hotel. I travel alone. It is centrally located with anything you would want a short walk away. You can have Papa John's Pizza (which is far superior here than in Canada, then go to P.F. Chang for supper. Shopping is nearby. If you want to eat local fare, you can find it everywhere. There is a delightful coffee shop next door. The staff are great. Come here. "
