"We stayed here for one night while passing through. We brought our toddler along so we wanted a hotel in a safe area and close to public transport access. The stop is right across the street. It’s a short ride to Fisherman’s Wharf and surrounded by all the high end stores. We felt safe walking at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our daughter really enjoyed the glass elevator view! Nice, quiet hotel in the heart of Union Square. I’d stay here again in the future. "

"This was our first time staying at the Donatello and we were very impressed and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was ideal with lots of restaurants nearby. We took advantage of the complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate on the top floor and used the games room several times during our stay. "I made reservation for 4 people. I was expecting to double bed in a room. When I saw the neda I called front desk and said are you kidding me? Even one person could not fit each bed. Forget two people sleeping one bed. The manager said it is our standard size bed which is smaller than queen. I said I am not asking. You for a favor.
