"Clean room & exceptionally friendly housekeeping staff. Location (walking distance to MET Museum) was fantastic for a weekend of museum hopping! Also, the rooms were incredibly soundproofed & quiet. Highly recommend! There are gym & laundry facilities as well on the lower level."

"The staff were great. The hallways to the rooms were old, had an odor and desperately needs an update . The room itself was large but very dated, I’m unsure where the pictures on the website were taken but our room for sure was not used. We had a garden view which was quiet. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. I would not stay here again."

"I was there recovering from minor surgery with a nurse.
The hotel took care of every request, brought me any food I could want. Even provided a shower chair (that I didn’t know I’d need)
I can not talk highly enough of the staff and the service. I live in NYC, so I don’t stay in hotels here that often. This hotel is just as prestigious as you would expect!"

You also get a discount with some local spots in the area just for being a guest at the FiDi hotel which the front desk can tell you more about. Room was small but was nice and clean! "I've stayed at Pod 51 several times and appreciate the fact that it provides exactly what I need—an affordable clean room and a comfortable bed to lay down on the few hours that I am in the room. I am usually in NYC for work, and am spending long hours at the office or catching up with colleagues over dinner. I do prefer one of the inner rooms (tends to be a little quieter), over street side, but its NYC. And thank you to the staff for making check-in and -out a friendly experience."
