"We stayed here as I needed to attend the hospital in Scarborough and decided to make a mini vacation out of it. Our stay was adequate for the price. Our room was clean and had no smells, but it and the bathroom were poorly maintained (eg. broken picture frame in the bedroom, peeling paint and discoloured peeling caulking in the bathroom, and the balcony door didn’t lock) which affected the overall vibe and our comfort. The restaurant was casual, like a cafe, and the food we ordered for dinner was great - except the breakfast buffet, which was $20/person ($10/child) and awful aside from the bacon and potatoes. Wait staff were friendly and treated my 4yo son very kindly, and went out of their way to engage with him. I would stay here again as the price was agreeable."

"My room had a strange T configuration and the bathroom was right next to the bed with thin walls. Even with the door closed, I could hear the toilet water running all night as it had a slow leak. The room itself was clean. I appreciated that there were no carpets. The coffee cups provided in the room were too small for the size of coffee the pods produce so I made a big mess. One should select the espresso setting, not lungo ! The Café food was average. Otherwise, the location made up for all the flaws. It was situated right on the King Street subway stop and very walkable to many downtown attractions. More storage or counter area in the bathrooms would have been useful. Overall, it was a good stay."

"I stayed here 2 weekends ago and had a very disappointing experience. After checking in, we went out for dinner and returned around 10:00 PM only to find there was no running water in the room. The front desk said the water would be off until 5:00 AM and that bottled water would be brought up right away. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again and was told someone was on the way. Another 30 minutes passed (now midnight) and nothing arrived, so we went to bed assuming it would be left outside the door. The next morning at 7:00 AM, there was still no bottled water and no running water. I called again and was told water would be back on shortly. Since we had to leave just after 8:00 AM, we waited hoping to shower. The water finally turned on around 7:40 AM, but it was freezing cold and never warmed up, forcing us to leave without showering, which is unacceptable from a basic hygiene standpoint. When checking out, I explained everything and was told I’d be refunded $20 for parking as compensation. That credit never appeared. I called days later and was told it would be fixed — it’s now almost two weeks later, I still haven’t received the refund, and the hotel no longer answers the phone. While maintenance issues can happen, the lack of communication, follow through, and resolution was extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel."

"Clean room , clean hotel , friendly staff .breakfast was on the cold side , travel back and forth to train gets costly ( I thought it was free shuttle) not just day your flight comes and leaves . Snacks are stupid expensive at the hotel , i understand its a Hotel but come on $10 bucks for big bag of chips is robbery , nothing is within walking distance . The train getting to union station is a plus . Overall not bad but probably wouldn't stay again"
