"Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot. "

"Very big hotel with polite staff and a lovely terrace to sit out on a warm evening. The room was a good size although bathroom was quite small, but bed and pilllows were very comfy. Shame about the club lounge though. It was very hot in there and choice of drinks was limited. The food was very disappointing, hardly any food there and when more was brought everyone descended on it like a swarm of locusts. It did not seem to have much choice either.
