"This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. "This is a really quaint hotel, the rooms are lovely and the staff are friendly, I have stayed twice in the last couple of months when travelling for work. The pub is lovely too serving a vast range of beverages. I would suggest to the property (I haven't asked so not sure if it is an oversight but was the same on both occasions) only 1 towel (although lovely towels) per person and no hand towel, also, a shower mat for inside the shower and a towel for the floor as it is extremely slippery both...

"Lovely hotel, we stayed in the suite which was bigger than expected. Parking at the back is great, the pub is great. Food downstairs was 7/10, breakfast was better than the evening meals. Staff are all lovely, we would stay again."

"The grounds and the old manor hall are beautiful lots of wildlife and birds. The spa / leisure centre is also very good but is ran by a seperate company to the main hotel which why it might explain it is better ran than the main hotel. We enjoyed our stay and the room (double suite in main hall building ) was good and spacious including a/c. "Amazing breakfast, perfect place for a sleepover after a long flight"

"The only concern I had was with the shower/bathtub combination. It is very difficult getting out, because the floor of the room is 6" lower than the bottom of the tub. And without anything to hold on to, I found it very dangerous."

"We stayed here for the weekend of26th June , what a gem of a place to find . Room was lovely , staff were very chatty and nothing was too much trouble , food excellent . Although not in the normal hot spot stays , this pub is in a quiet location but not far from anywhere . Highly recommend a stay here at this pub"
