"Nice property, not perfect but good. The room was fairly clean, bathroom ok but dusty. Comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was not too bad but some common items are omitted. The staff are decent and friendly. A decent stay for the money"

Be prepared to carry your bags up and down stairs as there is no lift (two staff members offered to carry them for us, which we declined but appreciated). "The bedroom was really old, tired and dirty. It didn’t look as advertised, and I was disappointed. It was very dusty, particularly on lamps and surfaces. The wardrobe also didn’t open properly. The sheets on the bed were ripped at the side seams, and had stains on them. I phone several times in advance of booking to enquire about breakfast in the room, and everyone I spoke to was so unhelpful. "Kept waiting outside the property ,taken up to room had to ask for the room key.Given the outside door code verbally ,why not give it on a card ?? Lousy area ,wouldnt stop there again."

Unfortunately the bar & terrace area was taken over by a golf presentation so a little disappointing as very limited free seating & early closing for bar & food provision.
