"Hotel was decent, but....small rooms and it sounded like you were sleeping directly on the highway. VERY loud traffic noise. We did have a room close to the end of the building but all I could here all night was traffic from the highway."

"During our stay on July 7, the valet situation was completely overwhelmed. When we arrived, there were approximately 10 cars ahead of us, and after waiting 20 minutes only one vehicle had moved. We were attending a concert at the new Acrisure Amphitheater and could not risk waiting an unknown amount of time just to park. We ultimately left the valet line, paid $38 to park in a lot two blocks away, and carried our luggage to the hotel. Considering we paid $366 for the room, this was an unexpected...

"We would never stay at a Hampton Inn, again. Skip the “free” breakfast that had no fresh fruit, muffins … the quality has gone totally downhill. The bathroom didn’t even have cups! What a waste of $250. Also, housekeeping only every other day. The bathroom off the lobby was not clean. Horrible stay."

"The Finnley is more an Air B&B than hotel. Excellent location, easy access, and felt private. The room was very well decorated feeling like a loft apartment. The bed was comfy. The only recommendations I would give to the property manager would be to provide more towels and a larger trash or a suggested place to take trash. A note: there is no parking at this hotel. The parking garage across the street cost us an additional $48 per night."

"The staff was great at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful. However, the room itself smelled damp. The bed and pillows weren’t comfortable either, and the shower drained very slowly. It’s a cool property with a good location but not sure I’d stay again."

"This was definitely a unique experience and was perfect for a quick visit to Grand Rapids for a work trip. You can walk to shops, amenities are all around, I was 4 minutes from the office and street parking was free and abundant. This was very similar to an Airbnb experience, self check-in and out without the list of tasks to do. The room was clean, bathroom was clean and the room had adequate supplies and a steamer, which was super convenient. It’s great if you need a quiet place to stay...

"The staff were great. The place was modern and very clean. For being so new I expected a closet and an iron, which the room did not have. I made due. I also expected housekeeping for being there three nights. I saw nothing about no housekeeping. I saw a sign about reusing towels, which we did. On the last day I had to go down to request more toilet paper. The hot water is a problem. I love the green initiative but having to let the water run for 10 minutes to get warm water and have it on full...

"Clean, friendly reception & good location if you are going Ada. Great looking hotel with functional downsides. The flooring, doors & lobby area restaurant are quite loud unfortunately. Seemed to be no soundproofing between rooms. Earplugs may be helpful. Only slow EV chargers so pack your patience & plan accordingly for those who need that."
