"We reached at around five in the morning after our plane was grounded on the night of August 22 in the heavy rain, thunderstorm, and lightning at Vancouver airport. The front desk person was extremely kind and helpful, and when I asked him what was the latest he would let us check out, he said we could check out at 1 instead of 11. This was extremely comforting. We had been on the plane for almost 18 hours coming in from Hong Kong and then being stuck on the plane. The thoughtful hospitality was very appreciated. Would definitely stay here again."

"The mineral spring pools are wonderfully relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in two different rooms because we enjoyed our one night stay so much we booked a second night while there. Our first room was very dated and desperately in need of renovation but it was clean and comfy. The second night we were in the west tower in a room that’s been renovated, the biggest difference was the reno'd room has laminate floor vs carpet in the old room. Carpeted rooms at a hot spring resort aren’t a great idea. Renovate the older rooms and some fresh paint where needed and I would have ranked this 5 stars. Staff was friendly and professional. Even the maintenance crew was smiley and friendly when encountered. The grounds are well maintained. We will definitely be going back."
