"The property is decorated traditionally which we loved. The amenities are lovely..bathrobes, slippers, chocolates ,cookies and Occitane bath products. The check in was swift..but because I booked using Expedia they put me down as an American. This did not sit well with me."

"Good hotel and good and kind staff at the front desk. I would highly recommend. We were with young children and kids loved it. Clean rooms with a nice view of the city, park. "We (2) stayed in the comfort room for 8 days. When we first got here, we were a little disappointed with not having a standing shower in the room but overtime we made it work! The room itself was really clean and housekeeping came every single day. The staff here are incredibly kind and provided us with everything we asked for. The breakfast was 10/10 every single day. "Overall I would say that this is a serviceable no frills hotel room. The check in staff was nice the lady was friendly. The rest of the staff just acted like we bothered them if I had to ask for something or had a question. The room was so small. It doesn’t have a vent fan in the restroom so the mirrors fogged up when using the shower. The shower only has a single panel of glass so the water splashes on the floor. "The Spinnakers Heritage House was an excellent place to stay while visiting Victoria. The room was absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed the local soaps and tea. It is a great location - close enough to walk to downtown and cafes in West Vic. The staff was great and we enjoyed our complimentary truffles and beer flight at the pub. We would love to come back in the future - so sad to hear it will be closing!"
