"Great position for sight-seeing (esp. as close to Grand Central. Clean, large enough room with everything we needed. Very comfy bed and quiet enough room. The best thing was the coffee, cans and snacks that were available 24/7 in The Reading Room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend."

"My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.
1. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room was ready, but if I wanted access to it sooner, I would need to pay an additional $125 fee.
2. Shortly afterward, I witnessed another guest (she was white) checking in and being told a similar room was available early; however, they were not charged the same fee.
