"If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. "

"Jon was an excellent host. Property is 200 yards from a lightly traveled riad so very quiet. Surrounded by tropical forest only 1 mile from entrance to volcanoes national park and 25 minutes from Hilo. Room was huge, about 27'x21' with a private covered deck to listen to the rain and pheasants who occupy the surrounding forest at night. Building has a sgared common area with common kitchen. We never saw another patron and Jon was discreet. Just what we needed to recharge our batteries and have...

"Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park. "Hands-down the best place we stayed during our 2.5 week trip to Hawaii! Barry and Jim were wonderful hosts, we were greeted by Barry as soon as we arrived! He helped get us settled in and showed us around the cabin. The cabin comes stocked with breakfast items, coffee, and fresh fruits! "Not Worth it, Price Like 4-5 hotel. It Like motel. .Very noisy during the day and night, people are passing your corridor to go to lobby and dragged their luggages . NO elevator, I need to carry All luggages to level 1 downstairs. Staffs helpful and friendly. I booke d for 4 adults. bed like queen but a bit small. Shouldn’t be for for 4 adults. No kettle and you need to pick up all glass, tea and coffee in receptions., bring your own water bottle as well. "
