"We stayed two nights at the Clerk & Wells. The staff was so helpful when we needed to have our luggage held and when we asked for local food recommendations. The room was adorable, nicely appointed and very quiet. "

"There’s a fine line between a “stripped back” aesthetic being a design choice and just being unfinished and scruffy. Unfortunately, this was a little too on the scruffy side. Also, extremely hot during the night with no ability to open a window. The walls are also very thin so you can hear everything going on next door as well as the pub until 12:30am (which is quite cosy if you don’t mind that kind of thing). However, staff were lovely and the breakfast in the sister hotel was amazing. Good...

"The staff was excellent at the One Tun. We had to extend our stay at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances and the staff was so accommodating. We really appreciate that they were able to keep us in the same room with barely any notice.
The hotel itself is roomy and clean and the location is excellent. Farringdon Station and the Elizabeth line are a two minute walk from the rooms and made getting around the city so easy.
If you have any trouble climbing stairs, you should reconsider...
