Ronseal hotel - exactly what it says on the tin. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and suited our needs fine. It's not the Ritz, but suitable if you're only using it for sleep/home basing during a trip.

Well it was cheap, and it was clean. But the furniture has seen better days, the shower hose leaked all over the place and it looks like it was painted by a blind person.

I booked last minute, price was good. It said book in for 13.00pm , arrived and the place was locked up, googled the phone number which brings you to some finance answering machine I had a single room with a shower but there is no kettle, cups or any toiletries as advertised. Place is very clean but there are a lot of steps to be mindful of.

I don’t think this place deserves to be called a hotel at all. Wall paper peeling off, holes in the wall, dust in & below radiator, no light in bathroom, uneven floor surfaces in corridor that can cause a fall etc. The hygiene standards were so poor that I could not even dare use the kettle & cups etc provided. I couldn’t trust them. I had to use antibacterial wipes after touching certain surfaces in the room. Walls are not sound proof. I could hear next door guest in shower. Each time the next door guest left his room, the door slammed & it woke me up. Curtains could not be proplerly closed. Single glazed windows which means cold at night. Radiators so dusty you don’t want to touch them with bare hands. Uncomfortable noisy bed each time you turn. Spring mattress in this day & age. No memory foam. I got the impression the place is a run down to a hostel standard. I would never recommend. Better to pay £100+ a night somewhere else & get an enjoyable experience than pay cheap & have your time in London ruined by cheap accommodation. Won’t be returning here at all ever!!!!

The hotel was very run down, room was cramped and bathroom was even worse although the actual shower was powerful and warm. There was no continental breakfast, there were two bowls in the room but not even any cereals, even after we requested some, we were directed to Macdonald's over the road by the staff who weren't very helpful and had limited English which didn't help. The only saving grace was that the bedding and towels were clean. No lift and lots of stairs so definitely not accessibility friendly and we had to leave via the fire escape as the hotel didn't open until 11am. It put a real dampener on our weekend and would definitely not recommend it to anyone who is expecting a friendly, welcoming stay.

Rasy to check in and the staff were really helpful Room was clean and what we needed for one night. Shower did take a bit of fiddling wirh to get a good temperature but you could move it to a lower position if youre not as tall and move it to hold in hand Only thing we had an issue with was some of the carpeting was a bit loose on the stairs and made us wwary when going down

Quality place, give it a go

Excellent day as always just absolutely fantastic venue staff and the people that frequent disestablishment are just absolutely welcoming and make you feel really really part of the community for me. It’s the best place to stay.

Fueron muy simpáticos, nos atendieron bien. El sitio nos venía bien por la ubicación a donde teníamos que ir y para los días que íbamos a estar, estaba bien de precio. El baño era pequeño y el hotel sencillo, pero todo correcto.
