"We stayed in the spa suite and it had a lovely bath and shower, the bed was comfortable. We went to attend a wedding and it was very beautiful. I feel it would have been helpful to have had more bar staff available to serve. When I had an issue it was resolved quickly. It is a beautiful hotel."

The pedestrian route to the restaurant was a bit dark in places.

"Sadly, a disappointing stay in a hotel that has the potential to be beautiful but is dated and poorly maintained.
We did not receive the suite we specifically booked for its layout. The first room we were given was accessed through a pitch-black courtyard, which felt unsafe. Although the bedroom and bathroom were modern, the living area was echoey, with a flimsy falling apart table and a fold-out bed positioned in a room near the external door. "Property itself was ok. Parking not a problem. Single room was in the attic and was clean . Only one small radiator that was struggling to heat the room on a cold night . Heating cuts off around 10pm . Woke at 3am cold and had to use the hair dryer to heat my feet and bed .
Heating went back on around 6.30am and off again at 9am . You should be able to regulate the radiator to suit your own needs . That was the only problem which led to a bad sleep when I was working on the Sunday after staying...
