Top Washington Coast Hotel Reviews

Ocean Crest Resort
6/10 Okay
"If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to check into a 1950s fever dream, look no further. The location is a 10/10, but the hotel itself is a solid "Time Machine Broken."
Walking into the lobby felt less like a vacation and more like an estate sale. The air had that signature "Grandma’s Attic" musk, and the reception featured a glass cabinet of snacks that I’m fairly certain have been there since the Eisenhower administration. They’re also still trying to make "DVD Rentals" a paid thing. In 2026
Speaking of charges—bring a kidney if you’re bringing a dog. They "allow" pets, but its $$$
The walls in our one-bedroom were made of what I can only assume was high-quality tissue paper. I didn't just hear the people in the parking lot; I’m pretty sure I’m now legally a witness to their divorce proceedings.
Pro-tip: Don't be fooled by the photos. 90% of them are of the fancy, overpriced restaurant next door. Also, the "walk" to the beach is actually a vertical mountaineering expedition. We enjoyed the workout, but if you aren’t training for the Olympics, you might just want to wave at the ocean from the parking lot. Joking aside, if you like no frills whatsoever, reasonably clean, and decor from almost 70 years ago, this is for you. For me, the price was way too high for what this place was, and I wish I had known about Seabrook (5mins away) before I booked."

Americas Best Value Inn Ocean Shores
6/10 Okay
"Room was clean and well equipped. Hotel is not identified as America's Best Value in the signage. It is an older single story hotel. Big peeve was no coffee in the room. Cummunal coffee not available until 8AM.Floor was a slab and cold on the feet."

The Forks Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Safe and clean"

Woodland Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Individual cabins were quiet and peaceful. Very clean. Comfortable beds, one was newer and supportive with a nice pillow top, the other was a little older, but still comfortable and cozy.
The bathroom door is a hanging door and a bit noisy when opening, and the toilet paper dispenser was hard to reach. When these tiny things are the only downsides it means it was a wonderful stay.
While driving through Forks, it was clear that these cabins were the best place to stay. I would definitely stay here again on another trip to the Olympic Peninsula."

Quileute Oceanside Resort
10/10 Excellent
"I will be back... again and again and again. Our room was clean amd comfortable, with a gorgeous view. The only downsides were that we could hear our neighbors upstairs, and the worker at the coffee stand was... interesting. But these were small prices to pay for what we got, especially at the price we paid!!!"

Lake Quinault Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"The vibes of the lodge were excellent. You can't expect 5-star spotless rooms when staying at a historic lodge like this, but the vibes are great. Very warm and comfortable with fantastic beds. The bathrooms are small and what you'd expect from an old lodge, but not bad by any means. Having the sink beside the dresser, outside the bathroom, was unique, but again, it's one of those things you just chalk up to being an old lodge. Meanwhile the property grounds are stunning. The entire building and lawn are perfectly kept and adds to the immaculate vibe of the entire place. Staff are kind and warm and it really feels like a homey type place. "

The Grey Gull
10/10 Excellent
"You can't quite see the beach from the room but it still a nice view. "

Red Lion Hotel Port Angeles Harbor
6/10 Okay
"Location and value are great. Polite staff. Room wasn’t cleaned once during our 4 day stay.
After we realized we have to ask for it to be cleaned, we did so - but still nothing.
Great place other than that. "

Olympic Inn & Suites
8/10 Good
"The room was reasonably clean, basic amenities, but great for an overnight stop. The TV initially didn’t work and once it was running, it offered only basic channels. "
