"Very kind staff. Strong fragrance throughout hotel. carpets in hallway covered in towels and toilet ran all night with a loud screeching sound over and over. Standalone AC or heating unit in room had a drain into a large plastic milk jug. Overall it’s an older hotel with charm but some of these things did not create a good impression. We got to our room late and when we noticed the issues we were too tired to ask to be moved so I did not repot these concerns."

"It’s a gorgeous setting around the pool and jacuzzi. A paradise with the palms and flowers. It’s a tiny bit run down. Needs new chairs at pool. The staff is amazing- room service, so helpful in many ways! Nice to have a restaurant on site! Price is great. Felt very safe as a single woman. Always stay there when I’m in town."

"Unfortunately a very bad experience. The shower wasn't cleaned, there was a super dirty shirt stuffed between the bed and side table, the power went out for several hours, and the thermostat didn't work. At check out I tried explaining this to the employee but was mostly brushed off. I've been going to San Jose for years but will likely be using a competitor going forward."
