"Hotel was clean tidy & well presented, I stayed in the lodge over the road which was also well presented, breakfast was also good, no complaints."

"Hotel staff were super. The Hotel itself needs a bit of tlc but we were happy with it.our room was spacious and clean. The Hotel has a bar and a restaurant and the food was good and the portion sizes were better than you would expect. Lovely spot right on the sea front. We were very happy to have stayed here."

"Lovely room, with a beautiful view. The added binoculars to watch shipping was a great touch. There were some problems around check-in (not Bon Ami's fault) and Nicci was fantastic in sorting them out (do contact them direct if you haven't heard back from them via Expedia). On street parking can be tricky. There is a car park nearby, but you will probably have to pay unless you're in and out between 8pm-8am. The streets change names, so make sure you have the right building. I managed to go to the wrong house, despite Bon Ami having a lovely big sign outside. The guest house itself is lovely. An easy walk from shops and take-aways, fantastic views. Room was thoughtfully laid out, clean, and extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend."

"Liked how the staff upgraded us and were responsive to our feedback. Liked the bed and linen, and how, mostly, the apartment was clean. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on."

"The bathroom was clean but a little dated , staff were so nice and very friendly, breakfast was fine but I would not recommend the vegetarian sausages. Parking was plentiful until an event is held. The carvery is very good and very popular, with a reasonable price tag. The dining areas are good with some nice waterside views both inside and out, as the hotel is on the waterfront. ."

"Immaculate room, very comfortable. Excellent bathroom - good shower, good towels, shower gel provided. Wifi worked fine - no problem connecting and good speed. Staff were very helpful and very friendly - that's the stand-out thing, really, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was everything I'd want and very tasty. A pot of tea (with two teabags) and a pot of hot water meant there was plenty of my favourite beverage. Very happy with the evening dinner from the bar menu was Plenty of parking space close to the building."
