"Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help. Sliding door had a broken lock which prevented us from locking the patio door the first night. Fuses tripped in the middle of night which prevented me from using CPAP machine and charging our phones. Slow drain in shower which caused excess water on bathroom floor. The views were spectacular and well worth the minor inconveniences. Wished we could have stayed longer!"
"The property is listed as luxury cottages. The picture looked as if it has sea view. There was no wifi and the very limited mobile data connection. We had to come to the decking area for signal. The next property was separated by plants. The guests were so loud and sat outside most of the time so we had to be indoors and keep the door and windows shut for some peaceful time. The view was a wall of plants.
It was a nice cozy cottage but should not be advertised as 'luxury'."
"Family run hotel. Owners were very friendly and gave us a room upgrade at now additional cost. Breakfasts were fantastic and in a great location for getting around the island. Recommended."
"In the heart of countryside sits this lovely manor and only a short walk away from the nearest town. If you want a simple stay with an easy breakfast and delightful, kind and helpful staff this is the place you want. Visited 3 times and shall be using again."
"Except location, for attractions and activities. Noisy at night on the weekends around town but usually quiets down by 11 pm.
Saturday morning chef was not good. The toast was a door stop and barely toasted and the butter was liquid! In the plastic packet. Service was also slow at breakfast but only on the Saturday. All other days were brilliant.
Room 4 has a very small sink in toilet/shower room. A sink more appropriate for a cloakroom toilet.
Other than those comments loved the Bugle and...
"This hotel looks like one of the places that Gordon Ramsay needs to save. In a desperate need for refurbishment and managed poorly. Don’t bother to book a breakfast for your whole stay, as you won’t like it.
Once the 80 clientele of the place passes away they will go bust and be out of business."
