"Small single room, nicely decorated and simply furnished. Fabulous view of the cathedral. The place is clean and quiet, I loved it and when I can afford it I will definitely stay again. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was also really nice and the dining room is very calm and comfortable. One little niggle, the shower was very small and not very powerful. "

"About a 20-minute walk from the centre, this place is in a convenient and easy-to-reach location. The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, which made arrival completely stress-free. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am. With a relatively late check-in time and quite an early check-out, a later check-out option would be much appreciated. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was on the minimalistic side, but still...

"The staff were fantastic very helpful and lovely to talk too and the room was beyond what I was expecting, beautifully clean lovely and warm the toilets were always clean and the shower was a walk in we absolutely enjoyed I stay and hopefully will be back next year. "The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. It seems that Expedia did not ensure proper quality assessment with the owner. When I book through...

"We had a great stay at The Evenhill. All the staff were very friendly. Our room was clean, warm and spacious. The shower was great and the towels were nice and large. We didn’t get full WiFi signal in the room, but it wasn’t a problem. We had dinner in the pub and everyone’s meal was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was excellent as well; with plenty to fill us up!"

"We attended TOR rooms for a nice getaway before my wife gives birth, we had been approximately 3 years ago and had a great time. Unfortunately with the new owners it has gone completely downhill. Upon entering the room there were around 8-9 large spiders. Ordinarily, a couple of spiders I would chuck out of the window. This time however it was almost like an infestation. I had to kill about 6 and flush them before my wife would even settle. We could not get through to the staff on the phone so...
