"Staff is really helpful and friendly with good knowledge of local stuff to do and see. The room was nicely designed. Bed was fantastic. Comfortable, clean and linen was soft and well ironed. "Stayed at the Ivy Hill Hotel for a couple of nights visiting family for Christmas. An excellent hotel for a quiet break but within easy reach of London. Staff were fantastic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast - both very nice. We were given a room upgrade and it was more spacious than our previous visit - very comfortable. Would definitely book again."

"We stayed here both the night before and after our flights from Stansted. It was just what was required - clean, warm and quiet. We had a nice meal in a local pub about 20 mins walk away called The Nags Head which was very nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. The car parking was as expected £5 per night and we parked right outside (1 min walk). Super quick and easy to drive to the airport accross J8 - took about 6 mins. We would definitely stay here again before an early flight."
