"Wow what an amazing hotel. We came to Weymouth for a friend's birthday party and just booked something quickly. We have been to many 4 and 5 star hotels in UK and abroad and this little boutique hotel was such a lovely surprise and so reasonably priced, especially as we have stayed in many boutique hotel chains at a much higher price. Even before our arrival I had a personal text message from the owner to welcome us. The hotel has many lovely quirky features and it smelt amazing. Spotlessly clean and so many little touches that really made it special. The views of the sea were stunning. We were personally shown to our room and had a little book to welcome us with information about the history of the hotel and the local area. The room had little extras like a magnifying mirror and ear plugs as well as the usual toiletries. When we returned back to the hotel in the evening there were little candles lit up the stairs which was so pretty. The breakfast the next morning was so good with a basket of fresh bread and pastries. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming particularly Steve who couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it if you are looking for a little escape to Weymouth. "

"Just back from a perfect weekend at Beach view . The location is fabulous with views of beach and harbour. Really friendly welcome and excellent breakfast . Rooms are lovely , would recommend."

"Our room was clean and comfortable but showing its age. Although it had been freshened up, the TV was quite old and picture quality was SD when these days one might expect HD. Similarly the light above the bathroom mirror was not even LED and when we found the pull cord it was dim and and only illuminated several years of dust. The bed was very comfortable. This may seem a bit picky but we paid over £100 for one night which did not even give us access to the pool. We learnt the hard way that the Expedia price does not include the pool and spa. It is actually quite clear on the Expedia site but we booked at the last minute and in a rush. There was plenty of parking and the location was close to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Beautiful view, comfortable bed friendly host - but take a blindfold if you want to sleep. Unfortunately I got very little sleep here, there are flood lights on the building which were on all night. I asked the host about them and he said it was the council who have them and they won't take them down - so then why not have blinds?! There were no blinds on the windows and the curtains were thin. It was like the aliens were landing it was SO bright. There were blinds in the breakfast room but not in the bedroom. Then as soon as dawn came I was awake at 5am with the sun. The TV didn't work and there's no drinking water in the room. You're supplied a 1.5 bottle of tap water in the fridge, but no other way of filling it up apart from the taps at the beach! The view was beautiful, however we were first floor and it's right next to a busy road, so if you have your window open you only hear traffic not the waves, which was a shame. It was great being right on the front and so close to the beach though and the rooms were a good price with breakfast. The breakfast was really good, although it would be good if there was something on the menu for kids, even just an option of pancakes or something other than just toast/cereal. The breakfast room also had a lovely view, although somewhat obscured by a huge vase of old silk flowers. We had a nice time, but wouldn't be back as I got very little sleep. "

"So close to the beach and all amenities and right next door to The Pavillion where we were going that evening. The room was just right though small and compact. The bed very comfortable so got a good nights sleep. It was all very clean which was fab. Lovely tasty breakfast. The parking was difficult as so busy but everything else made up for it! Would definitely visit again."
